2023 HONOREE:
This year, our annual race is honoring Ms. Gloria McHardy, a caring educator, an accomplished pianist, a vigorous freedom fighter, and an active member of her congregation & community for 60+ years!

A portion of proceeds from this event will support the inaugural effort for the NAACP of Martin County to particpate in the national ACT-SO Achievement Program! Each year, high school students across the country start a journey to sharpen their skills through the Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO). From visual arts and business to performing and culinary arts, participants work with community-based volunteers for a year to develop projects and performances. The experience culminates in local and national events where students compete for scholarships and other rewards.
